Results and Conclusion:
Cost point of view: Depending on the cost estimation results, the price needed for installing a piping system for greywater reuse in a single home is lower than the price that one house from the compound houses may pay. The prices are 50000 AED and 54000 AED respectively.
Ethical point of view: people will not accept to use others wastewater in their toilets even if it is treated very well. Also the amount of water that will be generated from 14 house will be huge even after reuse it for toilets flushing and irrigation. This excess water will be such a waste for water because the treated greywater shouldn’t stay in the storage tank more than 24 hr as the plumping code of Abu Dhabi said.
So after this evaluation we decided that the best alternative for constructing a dual reticulation system for reusing the greywater is the single home.
